I am a Biologist and nature photographer now fully focussed on the beauty nature offers in large and small sizes.
I enjoy nature as a passion whilst observing and seeing the beauty and condition. Photography helps to record even more than your eyes can record, especially since camera techniques enable high pixel detail photos.
About all my life so far biology was not part of the work I did. So being retired gives the opportunity to return to my passion again. Life!
Presently I am discovering a technique to visualise very small and fast moving insects in full detail by using telephoto lenses in combination with High Speed flashlights to enable macro photography from a distance. Because the cameras on the market do not enable this technique for lenses > 135mm this is un unknown field to discover since using macro lenses or tripods is merely not possible without loosing the object observed. Especially for a hobby photographer like me.
I even discovered that some very small insects can move even faster than the high shutterspeed of a camera when they are disturbed by the focussing beam of the camera or the synchronisation signal of the flashes; an opportunity.
This site shows my progress in visualising in detail of different parts of nature anywhere.
